Every undertaking is a school in itself. I had to go through timber construction videos and details to learn the basic concept of timber architecture. It was challenging to construct the building with a modular kit considering the architectural guidelines and gameplay layouts. I spent a good amount of time collecting references for architectural modeling kits, initial blockout to test gameplay metrics, set dressing, level layout refinements and providing a briefing to our outsourcing partners for final assets and material deliverables.
I can't thank enough to our principal artists Markus Lappalainen, Nazareno Urbano, our Art Director Janne Pulkkinen and our amazing concept artist Juhani Jokinen for guiding me through the whole process.
